ProAmpac in Omaha, NE is hiring experienced Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – 3 rd shift

OPENING ON 3 RD SHIFT -

Wage range based on experience:

• Maintenance Salary $30/hr

• Shift premiums offering $1/hour, $1.50/hour.

• Weekend shift premiums offering time and a half

Please find a brief description for technician role below:

• Maintenance Technician – Follow all Plant and Safety Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) always.

• General Maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities and equipment

• General knowledge to troubleshoot hydraulic systems

• Performs a variety of work including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, painting tasks

• Performs troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment, compressors, boiler and all other ancillary equipment

• Works with other Maintenance and production employees to troubleshoot problems

• Research, select and order parts and supplies as necessary.

• Ability to work varying shifts, times, weekends and possible emergency situations

• All other work as deemed appropriate by Supervisor, Manager, or Lead employees

• Mechanical: General knowledge and troubleshooting skills for belts, drives, sheaves, chain, etc. any other general power transmission system

• Safety: Knowledge of safety practices within maintenance field

Hours vary per department

• Full Time

• 8 and 12 hour shifts available

• First, second and overnight shifts available

• Weekday and Weekend shifts available

Other Desired Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to all levels of the organization

• Good organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• High School diploma required

• Two Year degree or Technical School preferred

Requirements

• Proficient with using multimeter ac/dc low voltage and high voltage troubleshooting, running conduit for more power sources and breaker panel, 480 V 3 phase, VFDs. sensors, limits switches, gates, control panel experience.

• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to all levels of the organization

• Good organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• High School diploma required

• Two Year degree or Technical School preferred

6+ years' of Manufacturing Machine Maintenance experience including but not limited to facilities maintenance, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, and other maintenance areas.
