Description

You will play a key role in managing and operating the financial tasks of our property portfolio. This involves budget management, financial analysis and audits, monitoring expenses and forecasting for future property costs.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.

2. Understand and apply general accounting procedures based on the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

3. Manage all aspects of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition.

4. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

5. Relevant property management duties such as property budgets and financial reporting.

6. Conduct regular ledger activities to ensure accuracy.

   Requirements

7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.

8. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within property management.

9. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

10. Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel in particular.

11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

12. Detail-oriented and analytical.

13. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decision based on the information at hand.
