Fiserv Sr. Project Manager - Banking or Financial Experience Preferred in Olympia, Washington
What does an outstanding Senior Project Manager do?
You will plan, coordinate, and monitor large scale scope/budget projects with a high degree of complexity and risk. You'll collaborate with key business partners to ensure a successful completion of a project, which can span multiple business units or functional areas. You can expect to:
Engage in project planning activities, including: scope definition; timeline creation, highlighting the critical landmarks and dates for project activities; dependency and impact identification; Putting mechanisms in place to set expectations and ensure ongoing control of the project
Define success criteria to promote alignment and work toward encouraged outcomes
Communicate the project’s progress on an ongoing basis, ensuring openness throughout project lifecycle. Provide leadership and key partners with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
Basic qualifications for consideration:
5+years of previous project management and/or relevant consulting experience in banking or credit union software implementation or conversion projects.
High school diploma or GED
Validated experience in project management processes, including client facing role methodologies and project lifecycle
Experience in driving small – medium size projects
Experience with Project Management tools
Travel up to 60%
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software including banking DNA
Bachelor degree in business
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with project team members
Ability to influence project team, internal, and/or external partners
Solid understanding of project partner needs, interests, and influence for project success
