Oracle engineered systems take infrastructure optimization to the next level. Exadata, ZDLRA, and ODA are three engineered systems specifically designed for Oracle database workloads and are best known for unmatched performance. They are Oracle’s highly successful offerings in the market, supporting mission-critical customers worldwide.

We are seeking a dynamic and creative addition to the Global Strategy and Outbound Product Management (PM) team. His/Her primary goal will be to help accelerate these engineered systems' growth across all the worldwide regions, across different industry verticals through Outbound Product Management and Business Development activities.

This person will focus on commercializing the products, crafting industry-focused solutions that tell a compelling story about how the product can be a differentiated offering, defining and refining the GTM, and working cross-functionally to grow the product as dictated by priorities.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

1) Background of Exadata technology, and associated solutions in the Oracle HW ands SW ecosystem.

2) Self-motivated to collaborate with Sales to support customer development, prepare collaterals, deliver the specific value propositions to prospective customers and actively support the Customer engagements.

3) Identify and prepare GTM plans to pursue new greenfield and whitespace opportunities, where Exadata can be a differentiated value proposition vs. Competitive offerings. E.g. there are evolving opportunities in HPC, Manufacturing vertical in US, and AI driven workloads and Edge cases. Team member is expected to be efficient with market research, have a deep understanding of competitive landscape, highly analytical, and be able to distill the requirements, plan theme based GTM programs to pursue these opportunities, while collaborating with cross functional teams.

4) Complement the existing team’s activities in different regions that the existing team is not always covering. For example, we want to be better connected to the Sales in eastern Europe or in Brazil; we know IBM is highly active there.

5) Expected to be very savvy with Excel, PowerPoint and highly metrics driven. Background in Sales Engineering, Sales, Marketing or Engineering preferred.

6) A strong team player, highly self-motivated (makes progress with little guidance), always focused on efficient execution.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

Canada: Hiring Range from $76,700 to $167,000 CAD per annum

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
