As an IT Specialist II, you will serve as one of the technical experts and lead on large, complex projects. Are you ready to resolve highly complex end user device computing issues, working closely with architects to establish/publish client computing standards? You will also work closely with lines of business to identify technology solutions to resolve business technology needs. Your day might include: Managing and supporting service desk functions Monitoring service delivery channels and collecting performance data Assisting with the specifications, development, research, and evaluation of service standards Delivering management, technical, and administrative services to support and maintain live applications Maintaining application support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures Using application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics, and create reports Providing a source of consistent information about available services and products to customers and users Contributing to the design and implementation of a service catalogue Enabling automation of service requests and order fulfillment Providing advice and guidance of information to be included in the service catalog Contributing to reviewing and improving of the service catalog and service catalog management processes Managing the full life cycle of assets from acquisition, operation, maintenance to disposal Producing and analyzing registers and histories of authorized assets and verifying that all these assets are in a known state and location Acting to resolve potential instances of unauthorized assets Coordinating responses to incident reports, minimizing negative impacts, and restoring services as quickly as possible Providing first line investigation and gathering information to enable incident resolution and allocating incidents What you bring to the team: Two (2) year technical degree or higher A combination of education, experience, and certifications may substitute for this requirement Two (2) years' of experience supporting client computing devices Current A+ Workstation Certification or to be obtained within 12 months of hire Current Network+ and Security+ Certifications or to be obtained within 12 months of hire Effectively coordinate and lead group discussions and/or meetings Competitive base pay: $28.08 - $42.12 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position. The target range for qualified new hires is typically within the first half of the range.
