About the Role:
As the Head of Strategic Cloud Partner Initiatives, is responsible for driving strategic planning and execution of cloud partner initiatives globally. This role is newly created, giving you the unique opportunity to shape it from the ground up. Your focus will be on building cross-functional systems, simplifying processes, and integrating key partner initiatives and incentives into our sales workflow. Ultimately, your work will drive field engagement at scale with CSPs, bridging the gap between sales, marketing, deal registration and partner teams.
What You Will Do:
Lead cross-CSP strategy and processes to scale cloud partnerships efficiently across Confluent
Optimize CSP program utilization including credits, discounts, and solution support
Increase internal awareness of CSP offerings and embed them into existing workflows
Advise and enable the sales team to leverage the partner programs/initiatives to accelerate migration of workloads and build cost efficiencies for the customers.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to implement CSP initiatives
Design and own CSP deal registration and tagging processes
Own the planning and roadmap for integrating partner offerings into sales workflows and tooling
Develop and execute CSP scale initiatives to drive mutual growth
Work closely with the operations and BI teams to define the requirements to develop a consistent reporting framework for business reviews.
What You Will Bring:
Proven experience in a strategic, leadership role focused on cloud partnerships, alliances, or cloud ecosystem programs.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments like sales, finance, product, and engineering to drive organizational change.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a track record of simplifying complex processes and driving scale.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and lead through collaboration.Deep understanding of cloud service provider ecosystems, including how CSP credits, discounts, and partner programs work.

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $195,600 - $234,720, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
