These are provided with 1-on-1 learning through our network of industry experts, hiring partners, and an online platform to deliver a structured and flexible education. The Role Thinkful students are enrolled in rigorous short-form courses with the goal of landing an entry level role in Data Analytics. We provide multiple forums to help students when they get stuck by meeting either 1:1 or at open sessions with a patient and knowledgeable industry expert who creates a safe and supportive environment for them to learn. Teaching Assistants work a variety of shift-based times during the business day, evenings, and weekends. If that sounds like you, read on! Drop-in hours for students are currently M-F between 11am-9pm ET with occasional weekends. We\'ll work with you to determine a schedule that works for you, which can vary week by week. Expectation to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, but actual time may vary. Responsibilities: * Host online video sessions at designated times for groups of students seeking live support progressing through our curriculum * Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their concerns, and engaging in discussions related to curriculum topics and assignments. * Arrive punctually and complete required reports before the end of the shift * Stay up to date with curricular, team, and company updates by reviewing Slack, email, and other async communications before starting each shift * Assist in maintaining records of student progress, including escalating and seeking help from the instructors. * If desired, serve as a substitute lecturer, teaching live in our established curriculum * Join live student study pods via video call to unblock their progress on labs and other coursework within allocated time Our Talent Pool Our talent pool is for qualified candidates not necessarily seeking immediate employment however, open to being considered for a position when it becomes available. Requirements * Expectation to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, but actual time may vary. * 4+ years relevant professional work and/or teaching experience * Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, Tableau, Python, Postgres, Strong Statistical Background, Experimental Design, A/B Testing at an industry level * Demonstrate ability to quickly learn and become familiar with the respective program curriculum, including the core concepts, topics, learning objectives, assignments, solutions, and grading rubrics. * Strong attention to detail in thoroughly understanding the assignments and supporting students with accurate and high-quality work * Have growth mindset, being open to learning new concepts, going through training to substitute for instructors as needed * Adapting to changes in the curriculum, teaching, and student support methodologies as required * Ability to collaborate with instructors and fellow teaching assistants, seeking guidance when necessary, and communicating progress and challenges effectively * Must have a reliable, high-speed Internet connection with clear audio and video in a To view the full job description,
