Description: A Material Handler job in Oldsmar, FL 34677 is available at Belcan. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. The Material Handler provides support to the production floor. The primary responsibility is to receive and process material in the inventory management system. As work orders are created and material becomes available for those work orders, the Material Hander will kit and issue work orders to the production floor.
This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and accuracy of the stock room. The person chosen for this role may be cross trained to perform work in production or other functions as needed.
Job Duties:
Material Handler job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Receive and verify materials against purchase orders for part number and quantity
Enter received material transactions into AMICS system
Kit work orders and issue material
Identity and escalate material shortages
Maintain parts room cleanliness
Cycle count inventory
Package and prepare shipments of finished goods
Must be able to work independently and efficiently
Will be cross trained to assist production or other functions
Required Qualifications:
Prior experience working in a material handling or similar role
Ability to use inventory software & MS Excel
Must have or be able to obtain certification for operating a forklift
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 Lbs
Ability to prioritize work and work independently
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, US resident or Permanent resident (Green Card holder)
Work first shift on a 9/80 schedule. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mon. thru Thurs. Work shift Friday is 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with every other Friday off.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $35,360 to $39,520. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
