Job Title: Maintenance Technician I - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd Shift to assist with maintaining our industrial laundry facility. You will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components. This includes, but is not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. Additionally, you will assist with performing preventive and predictive maintenance, resolving safety concerns, performing housekeeping duties, monitoring inventory supplies, and maintaining maintenance records.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components.

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.

  • Resolve safety concerns promptly and effectively.

  • Conduct indoor and outdoor housekeeping tasks.

  • Monitor inventory supplies and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.

  • Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.

  • Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.

  • Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.

  • Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift.

  • High School Diploma/GED.

  • Knowledge of boilers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • HVAC experience preferred.

  • Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing (preferred but not required).

Work Environment

You will be working in a facility that receives dirty towels, mats, and uniforms from industrial companies and hospitals. The facility contains industrial washers and dryers where the majority of maintenance is needed. Once items are washed, they are added to conveyor systems for repacking and prepping for shipment. The maintenance team primarily services and repairs the washers and dryers but also works on boilers, conveyors, and other departments within the facility. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 1pm to 9:30pm, and Friday from 1pm until the work is done, averaging 40-44 hours per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Olathe, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00/yr.
