ENTRUST Solutions Group Design Engineer II in Olathe, Kansas

Description

Join our team as a Design Engineer II! In this hybrid role, you'll work closely with senior engineers and gain valuable technical guidance. You'll be instrumental in gas main replacement and pipeline regulator station projects, leveraging your expertise to ensure all designs meet specifications. What You'll Do:

  • Support the preparation of designs, including calculations and drawings while working with drafters to complete design packages.

  • Lead the development of design on simple projects and support complex projects within our Gas Programs team.

  • Participate in peer reviews and QC reviews.

  • Utilize CAD programs and software analysis tools in engineering design.

  • Understand and apply appropriate industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited university or equivalent program.

  • 1+ years of natural gas engineering experience, preferably at an engineering consulting firm.

  • Must have valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional project and client visits in Kansas City and nearby areas.

Education

  • Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering

  • Bachelors or better in Civil Engineering
