KPMG is currently seeking a Secure Data Transfer Engineer to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain SFTP platforms daily that process secure data transfers; create accounts and SFTP sites as requested; develop and maintain process design documentation, end user guides, and operating procedures for our MOVEit platform and other Unified Communication Applications as applicable

  • Recommend and participate in testing, implementation, and support of all system upgrades and patches to the systems, services, and technologies used by the Unified Communications Operations team; troubleshoot storage issues as applicable

  • Evaluate with Engineering team and assist with implementing new technologies for SFTP platforms and other Unified Communication applications

  • Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve complex system configuration, production, and deployment problems within secure data transfer systems; perform quality checks on transfer and automations systems; troubleshoot and support SFTP platform and other Unified Communication applications

  • Pull necessary reports on data transfer systems to meet compliance; work with internal/external customers on data transfers; partner with architecture team on platform recommendations and perform testing in a lab environment

  • Train and assist Sr. Technology resources, for site implementation and all platform troubleshooting; perform routine system administration tasks including OS and application patches, upgrades, and backups

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience with implementation, operations, optimization, and how to secure difference facets of the firm's SFTP and Unified Communications environment

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Knowledgeable with firewall rules and SFTP platforms, specifically MOVEit secondary knowledge with Unified Communication applications regarding Audio Codes, Mural, Teams, and Session Border Controllers is a plus

  • Proven experience in design and implement changes to the SFTP platform and Unified Communication applications; backend knowledge of Windows, services and SFTP required; PowerShell scripting and SQL reporting are a plus

  • Strong verbal/written communication with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans

  • Ability to work normal business hours and after hours/on call responsibilities and able to provide 24/7 support for MOVEit and/or SFTP application

  • US Citizenship is required
