The Role

Responsible for defining product strategy, developing, and executing the product roadmap. Participates in the development and lifecycle management of Salesforce features. An entrepreneurial product leader responsible for defining, developing, and leading how we deliver CRM functionality to agents serving Lumen customers. Focused on the customer experience with an ability to understand and translate customer needs into product requirements and product value messaging. Adept at communicating our product capabilities to both internal and external audiences via written and verbal presentations. This role provides an opportunity to make an immediate impact on both our short-term deliverables and long-term strategic goals. Requires Salesforce knowledge.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and prioritize enhancement requests submitted by users

  • Coordinate, vet, and prioritize functionality requests from multiple lines of business

  • Leads the creation and development of product features by understanding the market and product requirements and championing the asks from ideation to market

  • Develops and articulates vision and market strategy across the product portfolio. Identifies market direction, what’s important to agents and customers, where technology and features are evolving, and where the company can effectively compete

  • Provide impactful feedback to IT during demos to ensure feature functionality is delivered as expected

  • Prepares and delivers presentations that include current deliverables as well as future functionality roadmap for Governance purposes

  • Monitors customer and operational metrics to ensure a leading customer experience

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 2+ years experience in Salesforce

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience

  • Basic understanding of AGILE/SCRUM processes

  • Good organizational and “action accountability” management skills

  • Ability to provide leadership to cross-functional teams

  • Top tier written and oral communication skills

  • Drive execution of short and long-term strategies to grow the product portfolio

  • Advanced analytical skills. Must be able to work through complex issues with a methodical approach. Must be able to understand and distill data into actionable items

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Must be detail-oriented

  • Ability to distill broad concepts and business strategies into structured product management/marketing plans

  • Technical aptitude to understand product dynamics and recommend product enhancements
