Job Title: Help Desk Technician (Contract to Hire)

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Position Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description:

The Help Desk Technician will serve as the initial contact for our users, addressing technical issues and ensuring smooth operations. You will collaborate with the IT department to maintain system functionality and support end-users effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve user inquiries and issues through phone, email, and in-person interactions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues.

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.

  • Log and document user issues and solutions in the ticketing system.

  • Provide guidance on software applications and IT best practices.

  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support when necessary.

  • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field preferred.

  • Experience in a help desk or technical support role.

  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills

    Requirements • Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience in data analysis or a similar role.

• Proficiency in SAP systems is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.

• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Ability to design, develop, and maintain data warehouse and analytics architecture.

• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and structures, cubes, and schemas.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.

• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques is desirable.

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

• Demonstrated aptitude for analytics and data interpretation.
