rResponsibilities

rThe Audio/Visual Specialist (AVS) is responsible for operation and support of all A/V services and equipment within OMRF.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support & communication of all A/V services for all in-house meetings, seminars, and events.
• Troubleshooting and fixing any problems that arise with any A/V equipment.
• Working with producers/directors on design, testing, installation and positioning of equipment and props for live events and/or meetings.
• Streaming live events, store file in media archives and distributing to event organizers.
• Managing equipment load check in/out, maintenance, inventory, and paperwork using a chargeback system.
• Working with vendors and IT support in procuring & supporting equipment and developing training and instructional material for end users.
• Assisting IT and Operations in upgrading and coordinating installation of A/V equipment in conference and event spaces.
• Attending event team meetings and reporting on events and equipment status.
• Maintaining the security and integrity of all data.
• All other duties as assigned.

rQualifications

rrrrAbility to work in a team or independently, excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent customer service skills. Ability to form good working relationships with outside vendors and contracts.Demonstrated working knowledge of a variety video conferencing software that may include, but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx. Demonstrated working knowledge in configurat on and operation of event-based hardware that may include, but not limited to, external video monitor/recorders, video signal converters, live production switchers, audio mixers, wireless microphones, projectors, lighting and sound, digital displays, A/V tools, building cables and connectors, and teleconferencing equipment.rrrr
