Continental Resources Administrative Assistant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Summary

This Administrative Assistant position supports the Government & Regulatory Affairs organization. Performs administrative support-oriented job duties; resolves a variety of support-related questions and problems; performs duties such as file maintenance, managing inventory, typing, preparing reports, conducting correspondence, distributing information, conducting administrative-related research and computation, managing office procedures, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties, including gathering and sorting data, filing, and processing expense reports in a timely manner

  • Prepare and compile information for reports, and/or presentations including charts, graphs, and tables as needed utilizing or applying business software (such as Microsoft Office products) to accomplish or enhance tasks

  • Acts as liaison for Government & Regulatory Affairs, maintaining open communication with other departments, and representing Government & Regulatory Affairs in a pleasant and professional manner at all times

  • Serves as the primary contact for the group; greets visitors; receives and responds to calls; refers callers/visitors to appropriate personnel

  • Create and maintain calendars for appointments, conference calls, meetings, and key projects

  • Arrange and coordinate travel plans as required; track and maintain vacation schedules

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings/conference calls along with taking and distributing minutes

  • Maintain confidentiality with all records and related information for the company

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma (or GED)

  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative office experience or clerical support work.

  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or other technical or specialized training/certification from an accredited college or university

  • Previous experience working in Government or Regulatory Affairs

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
