BASIC PURPOSE : The Systems Admin works within the Gemini safety and compliance team. This position ensures safety and DOT regulations are being followed. This position will help ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and help with improving performance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with programs to report and improve CSA scores.

• Assist with changes and updates to the the truck driver training program.

• Work with Data Q FMCSA system.

• Record safety meeting information as needed.

• Assist with driver logs.

• Updating driver logs when paper logs are presented.

• Consistently working unidentified driving daily and assigning to correct driver and/or shop.

• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

• Works with Electronic Logging Devices (GeoTab)/ Lytx Camera System.

• Assists with preparation for company safety bulletins.

• Add and remove new hires from GeoTab and Lytx programs.

• Prepare weekly reports.

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Handle phone calls.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED and/or relevant transportation experience.

• 0-2 years of experience.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Skills:

• Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel; basic computer skills are required.

• Soft Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self-motivated, good time management skills, and the ability to prioritize.

• Typical Physical Demands:

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
