Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves contributing to the financial operations within the industry by handling tasks related to accounts payable. This position is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and processing transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry and coding of invoices to ensure the correct account is debited

• Process and manage accounts payable and ensure all payments are made timely and accurately

• Utilize software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP for invoice processing and account reconciliation

• Run checks and maintain records of all transactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations

• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.

• Review vouchers for missing receipts and attach receipts and packing slips to payments vouchers as needed

• Input data from vendor payment vouchers into accounts payable system and print pre-check register for review.

• Reconcile open accounts payable invoices and credit memos.

• Prepare CashPro report to be submitted to the bank

  Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and check runs

• Experienced in coding invoices and processing invoices

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High level of integrity and dependability

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field is preferred
