As our Senior Accountant you will report to the Accounting Manager and become part of the Corporate Accounting Center of Excellence. You will ensure accurate revenue recognition, and maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. On a given day, you may: Manage our revenue recognition following US GAAP standards. Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Work with sales, legal, and operations teams to review contracts and ensure revenue recognition. Support month, quarter, and year end reporting activities Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Support OneStream reporting Support internal and external audit requests, and participate in efforts to improve audit and control findings. Document standard operating procedures and instructions surrounding accounting procedures. Share best practices in accounting practices with others in the Accounting CoE and support the Accounting Manager to implement them within the team. Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead the team in implementing best practices Requirements for the role You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. GAAP and financial reporting standards knowledge Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SL9). 4+ years experience ensuring SOX compliance Travel & Location You will be under a remote schedule and we ask that you travel approximately 15-20% of the time to the Cleveland OR Sandusky, OH area. COMPENSATION RANGE: $95,000-$100,000 Compensation is determined on experience and skill. This job description is a general description of essential job functions.
