Hours Worked : 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
Position Overview:
ATL is seeking a dynamic Energy Harmonics Lead to join our team of dedicated professionals focused on client service and quality. Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervising and coordinating workflow through the testing lab, which includes delegating team members and scheduling test equipment.
Lead weekly workload meetings with the group and participate in weekly leadership meetings.
Regularly communicate with client contacts to gather details needed to complete testing and discuss results criteria.
Managing customers with rapidly changing priorities. Communicate with the client(s) for clarification ensuring accurate results and customer-satisfaction.
Support the day-to-day electrical needs of the product teams to include surface mount and through-hole soldering, construct cable assemblies, bread boarding, and fabrication or prototyping skills with various analog and digital electrical circuits.
Troubleshooting, modification and repair of complex and small gauge cable assemblies or electronic circuit card assemblies down to the component level.
Experience with schematic capture, creation, updating, and maintaining.
Regular use of DVM, oscilloscope, function generator, impedance analyzer, and vector signal analyzer.
Execution of soldering iron and hot air soldering techniques for construction and fabrication of test box enclosures.
Maintaining consistent wiring colors and schemes with documentation of circuit builds for future duplication.
Maintaining and organizing workspaces in a research & development environment.
Support efforts to monitor and enforce safety compliance.
Monitor and replenish inventory in 5-S workspaces as required.
Develop and document new procedures as appropriate.
Assist with testing in the animal tissue lab as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Proficiencies:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer-service focused, detail-oriented and great organizational skills a must.
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot, and communicate findings to Engineers and team members with minimal instruction
Ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings, engineering concepts mechanisms, fixtures, tooling, etc.
The ability to design and develop electronic test hardware (analog and digital) for product test applications would be a strong plus.
Ability to use and debug software on test applications (Linux). Working knowledge of mechanical testing systems.
Detailed fine pitch soldering and component level troubleshooting.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Education and Experience:
Associate degree in electronics or equivalent formal training with a minimum of 5 years technical experience and at least 5 years working in a lab/testing environment.
2+ years of leadership experience.
Preferred
4-year Degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM background with 5+ years of experience preferred.
4+ years of leadership experience, including coaching and staff development
Must possess strong ability to work well under pressure meeting deadlines in an ever-changing environment.
2+years of LabView programming
2+ years of Python programming
1+ years of MTS Test Suite experience.
Experience in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining robotic equipment and/or applications is a strong plus.
Prior experience working in a highly regulated industry.
