Job Purpose :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Public Cloud Engineer III to join our dynamic team. As a Public Cloud Engineer III, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our clients utilizing Azure cloud services. You will collaborate closely with our clients, as well as internal teams, to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

This position requires a solid understanding of cloud services, particularly Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and intermediate Azure information. The Cloud Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, leveraging their specialized expertise to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions over the past decade. They must also possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365 services.

Essential Functions :

• Designing and implementing solutions that leverage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID to meet business needs and objectives.

• Maintaining and optimizing the performance and cost-efficiency of existing Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.

• Collaborating with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services with on-premises technologies.

• Providing expert technical support and guidance on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID issues to internal teams.

• Staying informed about the latest developments in the Microsoft 365 and Entra ID ecosystems to leverage new features and capabilities.

• Ensuring that all Microsoft 365 and Entra ID infrastructure meets the highest security and compliance standards.

• Assisting with the design and implementation of Azure solutions as secondary functions, ensuring they complement the primary M365 and Entra ID services.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues like performance optimization, network connectivity, security, and scalability related to Azure cloud services.

• Understand technical requirements, provide tailored solutions, and work with CPE, Sales, and Product Management to resolve issues effectively.

Education:

• Four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:

• Public Cloud certifications with Microsoft 365, Azure, GCP, or AWS preferred.

Experience:

• 7-10 years of related experience

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Advanced experience with Azure public cloud services and cloud public services, including Entra ID, Intune, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Monitor.

• Expertise in enterprise applications and cloud services, such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Apps, Windows 11, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Entra ID.

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams of engineers, architects, and consultants.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, customers, partners, and vendors.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans, and to align M365 solutions with business objectives and customer needs.

• Experience with cross-platform deployment of M365 products, supporting Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux devices.

• Knowledge of device security protocols and standards, such as Zero Trust, MFA, SSO, BitLocker, TPM, SCEP, and NDES.

• Ability to create and maintain documentation for cloud processes and procedures, using tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.

• Demonstrate a high level of knowledge on Microsoft products and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the cloud field, particularly in Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with experience in Agile/DevOps being a plus.
