Description

We are in search of a Platform Engineer to become a part of our team in Hawaii. In this role, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining our system infrastructure, using your skills and knowledge in various open source tools and methodologies. This opportunity offers an exciting chance to work in the DOD industry, in a role that is crucial to our platform development. Position is full time with full benefits and 5 days onsite in Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes to configure, automate and containerize..

• Apply automation skills in the development and deployment of software applications.

• Conduct cluster analysis to understand the behavior of complex systems.

• Linux Engineering.

• Manage system configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Use Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

• Maintain TS/SCI Clearance to handle sensitive information and tasks.

• Leverage Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking.

• Implement Agile Scrum methodologies in project execution and workflow management

Requirements

• Proficiency in Ansible for automated configuration management and application deployment

• Proficiency in Linux for implementing and managing web servers and web applications

• Experience with Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing project tasks

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies for facilitating team collaboration and iterative progress on projects

• Strong background in Automation to streamline and expedite processes

• Expertise in Cluster Analysis for managing and coordinating computer clusters

• Experience in Configuration Management for maintaining system consistency and functionality

• TS/SCI Clearance as a requirement for handling classified information

• Proficiency in Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
