PAINT PREP TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will assist in the paint department by preparing ENVE components for painting.
PAINT PREP TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES:
- Visually inspect components for surface blemishes
- Perform light manual sanding and buffing of surface area to ensure a smooth surface with no imperfections.
- Mix hardeners and fillers per direction and apply to parts as needed. Re- sand after dry.
- Mask components with take per work instructions.
- Adhere to deadlines for paint production schedules.
PAINT PREP TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
- Manufacturing experience required.
- MUST HAVE High School Diploma or GED
- Good hand coordination and measuring skills.
- Consistent HL up to 55lbs
- Self-Motivated
- Monitor process and parts for quality control.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- English Required
- Must be able to become certified to wear respirator.
- Must be able to work in loud environment with varying temperatures.
PAINT PREP TECHNICIAN WAGE:
- $18/hr.
PAINT PREP TECHNICIAN SHIFTS:
- M,T,TH,F | 6AM- 4:30PM
- OR MON-FRIDAY 6AM-2:30 PM
