We are currently seeking a Logistics Planner for North America.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Own the purchase order process from PO placement to Distribution Center (DC) arrival.
With support of the Demand Planners, Merchandising Teams and Sales – Identify priority purchase orders and SKU’s that are needed in local markets to support on-time delivery of customer orders, market activations, D2C/B2B Launch support across all categories, Footwear, Apparel, Gear and Winter Sports in the portfolio.
Planner-Logistics will be a key member of the Winter Sports Direct Ship Program.
Primary contact and liaison between customer, CX Teams and nominated carrier partners.
Drive continuous improvement in all phases of Direct Ship Program.
Key point of contact and partner with local DC Teams to assist in inbound container staging, prioritization and help manage flow to NA DC’s.
Help resolve any issues, concerns with inbound inventory, maintain PO’s in the system from proper dating to managing over/short ship issues.
Partner with the Global Distribution and Transportation Team (D&T) to manage vendor bookings, routings and any opportunities for improvements in movement and visibility of goods into local DC’s.
Assist in inventory planning and reporting for DC’s and Regions.
Identify and report on key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to on-time performance for PO delivery, Customer Delivery and on-hand inventories in each region.
This role prefers a bachelor’s degree in operations management, Business or equivalent. We are looking for a candidate with 3-4 years of strong experience in production planning/scheduling.
Other qualifications include:
Outdoor Industry or Soft Goods background
Experience working in or with Omni Channel Distribution Facilities
Global Company/International experience a plus
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and geographies

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within timelines.
Proactive approach in developing/presenting solutions
Drive Continuous Improvement
Good Understanding of Operational interfaces between SAP and related systems to set up processes to facilitate daily work
Familiarity with SAP, Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud reporting tools
Proficiency – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Ability to travel internationally as required
