Job Description

With direct supervision, is responsible for work assignments on a part-time or temporary employment basis while enrolled in a university degree program. Assignments are intended to provide entry-level experience and training related to the degree discipline and in Parker business structure, operational functions, customers, and products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Acquire knowledge of various department operations, functions, responsibilities and work flow. * Complete well-defined work assignments and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments. * Learn and become proficient at systems and procedures applicable to work assignments and functional area. * Maintain communication with team leader to include feedback on assignments, scheduling, and program improvements. Immediate work direction may be assigned to an experienced team member. * Perform other related responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS: * Enrolled in university coursework toward a college degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. * Ability to work effectively in a variety of administrative, technical and manufacturing assignments. * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all contacts. * Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
