Overview

The Services Access team is looking for a Program Manager - Technical to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role

In this position, you will:

Meet with product managers to discuss and elicit needs, translating them into features, user stories, and technical stories.

Facilitate story mapping sessions, enabling product managers to visualize and prioritize work.

Actively groom and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring work is ready for the Dev teams.

Facilitate backlog grooming sessions, articulating the what and why of each user story, enabling the dev team to define the how.

Create features and stories aligning with product increments that are individually testable and shippable.

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should:

Have experience as a business analyst managing work across multiple squads.

Have extensive experience leveraging agile tools (JIRA, ALM, Kanban) to facilitate agile ceremonies.

Have proven success in systems architecture/design, managing complex projects, scoping multiple work-streams, and working across multiple teams/geographies.

Have relevant experience in requirements gathering, specifically user story creation, and relationship building with business clients.

Be skilled at collaborating with team members to ideate appropriate design solutions.

Possess strong writing and verbal communication skills.

Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.

Always look for potential solutions to solve problems.

Preferred Skills

Certified Product Owner (CPO).

Experience in facilitating Agile workshops geared toward feature definition and prioritization.

Experience leveraging story mapping to define business value increments and breaking stories down to their smallest value increment.

Experience breaking stories down into 1-2 increments, enabling CI/CD principles.

Education

BS or MS in Computer Science.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
