Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in O'Fallon, Missouri

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its O’Fallon, MO location.

Duties: Develop design and code artifacts and software that is scalable, secure, and reliable. Create solutions with prototypes, pilots, and technical proof of concepts. Identify and define system enhancements and quality improvements. Partner with management teams to ensure integration of functions to meet goals, identify and define system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve problems through evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Work with program managers to plan delivery, identify risks, and adhere to business goals and objectives. Provide expertise and advanced knowledge of applications programming. Ensure application design adheres to overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Oversee program and project teams for optimal delivery, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives. Assess risk when business decisions are made in line with firm’s policy. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in an above stated field of study, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience (or three (3) years in the alternative with a Master’s) must include: Designing software applications using Java/JEE, Web-oriented architecture (WOA), Object Oriented technologies, Spring boot framework, Swagger, PCF, Eureka, ConfigServer, OpenShift, JWT, HTML5/CSS3/XML, REST Microservices, and REST/JSON services; Implementing security mechanisms using OAUTH 2.0 and SAML; Developing UI frameworks using JavaScript libraries, frameworks, Single Page designs, and Angular; Deploying Software Applications on Application Servers (Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, or JBoss) and Web Servers (IBM IHS and Nginx); Developing relational and No-SQL databases, performing Unit Testing, and deploying Test-Driven Development; Testing tools, including Postman and SOAP UI, and developing software applications and analyzing systems; and Implementing data structures, such as Linked List, Stack, Tree, Graph, and Map, along with Sorting and Searching Algorithms such as Linear Search and Binary Search. 40 hrs./wk.
