Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Cost Accountant based in Odessa, Texas. This role is integral to our team and involves working within our cost accounting system, liaising with various stakeholders such as the manufacturing team, and coordinating with vendors to streamline our manufacturing purchasing process.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the internal cost tracking system for unit development.

• Collaborate with the manufacturing team, Chief Technology Officer, and CFO to maintain and update the bill of materials.

• Coordinate with a diverse group of vendors to manage the entire purchasing process of manufacturing.

• Utilize MS Dynamics GP software to manage and analyze financial data.

• Conduct cost analysis and allocation for various projects and processes within the company.

• Handle accounting functions including accounts payable and auditing.

• Utilize your skills in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to enhance our business processes.

• Prepare and manage budget processes and monitor cash activity.

• Utilize Crystal Reports and Epicor software for data analysis and reporting.

• Manage and maintain records relating to manufacturing cost accounting. Requirements • Proficient with Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Crystal Reports

• Knowledge of Epicor

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Skills in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Ability to manage Cash Activity

• Proficient with MS Great Plains Dynamics

• Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM)

• Experience in Cost Accounting

• Proficient in Cost Allocation

• Skills in Cost Analysis

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting
