The role you’ll contribute:
The CE Coordinator is responsible for assisting executive-driven clinical improvement initiatives that positively impact and improve patient outcomes, policy compliance and operational effectiveness in care delivery. The CE Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Clinical Effectiveness team in continuously improving quality of patient care through providing day to day support services. This department and position is an essential component to drive and direct a vision of quality and safe care as well as compliance to national and state regulations and as such must constantly motivate, enthuse and persuade staff to contribute to promoting ownership of the organizations agenda. Job requires maintaining a strict code of ethics in working with highly confidential data and information.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Provides support to all functions within the facility, under the direction of the Executive Director of Clinical Excellence, including infection control, performance improvement, staff education, regulatory compliance and policy development, data maintenance, tracking, and report generation, and presentations. Maintains proficiency in Epic and Microsoft programs.
· Functions as a clinical expert, educator, consultant and researcher for clinical information systems. Provides directional education for all clinical information initiatives in accordance with the strategic objectives for the organization. Delivers presentations, leads teams and provides workflow design for clinical and informatics related processes;
· Supports Quality and regulatory related committees from agenda preparation, documentation and presentation design, advisor and maintenance of minutes, when requested.
· Participate in the development, implementation, education, evaluation, and revision of the policies and procedures process of the organization. Collaborates and effectively communities with multidisciplinary team to implement evidence based practice and national guidelines for ongoing clinical practices.
· Integrates support for action plans and improvements with related regulatory and accreditation standards to promote compliance. Tracks timeliness of response for key ancillaries and provides contemporaneous feedback to team leaders and committees.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
· ADN degree required in Nursing
· Minimum 5 years in clinical healthcare setting
· Current unrestricted Florida Nursing Licensure
