Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This involves completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. You will follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications while troubleshooting any malfunctions. Additionally, you will perform preventative maintenance on equipment and document problems on the provided work order.

Job Details:

• Job title: Maintenance Mechanic

• Location: Ocala, FL

• Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm (M-F)

• Pay: $20-$24/hr (based on experience)

• Manufacturing environment (non-climate controlled)

• Perform mechanical maintenance on production machinery including hydraulics, conveyors, gear boxes, and pneumatics

• Utilize hand and power tools for repairs

• Adhere to preventative maintenance schedule and documentation of repairs

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience

• Experience performing mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulics, pumps, gear boxes, belts, and conveyors

• Any electrical experience is a plus

• Ability to work second shift

• Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments
