OMLP accelerates development of early career talent and produces operational leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (manufacturing engineering, manufacturing supervision, sourcing, planning and logistics), Quality (internal and suppliers) and EHS at GE.
Essential Responsibilities :
Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) is intended to develop a pipeline of leaders that deliver business critical results through outstanding performance in multiple supply chain functions. As an OMLP you will have a unique opportunity to develop a broad operational knowledge base and skillset by working in four of the supply chain areas described below:
Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor
Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)
Technical – (lean, manufacturing engineer / process engineer)
Environment, Health & Safety (site operations support, EHS support)
OMLP members are first and foremost problem solvers & change agents.

Our program members have the opportunity to take part in world class course work and practical application which includes Supply Chain Management, LEAN Manufacturing Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Project Management, Negotiation Skills and Business Acumen. The experience gained during the rotational assignments, learning & development, and career mentorship & coaching positions OMLP members for accelerated career growth within the supply chain.
Qualifications/Requirements :
Graduated not more then 2 years
MSc or BSc Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
Engineering Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, Automotive, Aerospace
Supply Chain Supply Chain Mgmt, Material Mgmt, Logistics
GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
Prior work experience - including but not limited to work in a manufacturing setting (internship or associate).
Advanced level of German, intermedate level of English.
Must be open to relocation on program (within the country).
