Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Building Conditions Assessment Professional ! In this role you will get to work closely with our Environmental and Infrastructure teams in Ontario.

This is a Part-Time, Casual role working on an as-needed basis.

What You'll Be Doing:

• completing Building conditions assessments for our public and private sector clients.

• support scoping and preparation of budgets in support of proposals

• provide technical reviews and designs on various mechanical systems.

The primary responsibilities for this position will be to conduct buildings conditions assessments for our public and private sector clients. Specific job description includes but is not limited to the following:

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or civil engineering or similar programs or equivalent experience

• 15 + years of consulting experience at an engineering firm with strong experience in the applicable federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations within a Canadian (preferably Ontario) jurisdiction

• Performing building condition assessment of commercial, industrial, and residential properties;

• Implementing construction quality assurance program, and perform quality control field inspections;

• Performing construction audit and capital asset planning;

• Performing design review and mock-up validation;

• Restoration strategies and contract administration.

• Track record of delivering high quality work products

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Designated Substances and Hazardous materials surveys.

• History of business development and client management.
