Confidential Employer Mechanical Engineer in OAKS, Pennsylvania
- Proficiency in Solidworks is required
- Experience with Mold Tooling Design is preferred but not required
- Familiar with implementing, maintaining, analyzing data to react to various production performance metrics and KPIs
- Setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge about plastic injection molding process is required
- The Injection Molding Process Engineer is a "hands-on" position that plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing equipment to produce high quality injection molded product.
- The Process Engineer is responsible for coordinating and/or trouble shooting the molding efforts on new program launches.
- Setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes.
- Assisting the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous improvements.
- This position also mentors and provides training to other injection molding personnel.
- Writes IQ, OQ & PQ protocols compliant with existing SOP's with assistance from more senior personnel.
- Drives machine/equipment efficiency thru cycle time reduction, waste elimination, tooling improvements, and changeover reductions.
B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences, Plastics, is required alon with practical experience.
