Groundskeeper

PeopleReady of Oakridge, OR is now hiring Groundskeepers! As a Groundskeeper, you maintain a property's lawn orderly, prune bushes, remove weeds, lay mulch, and create layouts as needed. This is a 3-month assignment in Oakridge Oregon. It is working as a grounds keeper in the parks mainly, cleaning brush, mowing, using a weed eater, and painting when needed. Will be working outside for entire shift. Full-time Monday-Friday.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Groundskeeper:

• Use hand tools and powered equipment to mow 

• Attend to lawns by mowing, mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing 

• Trim and edge around flower beds, sidewalks, and walls 

• Mix and spray fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides 

• Upkeep sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, or other grounds features 

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Previous experience as a Groundskeeper preferred

• Have basic operating knowledge of Groundskeeper tools

• Strong work ethic

• Able to focus on details at all times

• Able to lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload materials as well as carry needed tools to and from the jobsite

• Able to work outdoors in all temperatures, which may include heat (temperatures above 100 degrees) or cold (temperatures below 32 degrees)
