An established and expanding litigation firm in the East Bay Area is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join their dedicated team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of civil litigation matters and advance your career within a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys through all phases of the litigation process. You will join a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality legal services to our East Bay clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.

• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained.

• Prepare and organize exhibits and evidence for court proceedings.

• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and provide case updates.

• Assist with discovery processes, including the preparation and review of discovery materials.

• Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned by attorneys.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• ABA-approved Paralegal certification is required.

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation.

• Ability to work on-site in the Oakland, CA is highly preferred, but remote hybrid schedules will be considered for the right candidate.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.

• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
