Description
We are offering a contract for a Project Manager role in Oakland, California. The Project Manager will be in office/onsite four days per week with an annual salary of $82,500.
This Real Estate Project Manager role is pivotal in the successful execution and implementation of commercial and affordable housing projects. The Project Manager will be expected to collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all phases of real estate development projects, from site selection to lease-up
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and contracts
• Oversee construction aspects including site inspections, quality control, and coordination with contractors
• Ensure projects comply with all relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable regulations
• Foster relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
• Regularly update internal teams, funders, and community stakeholders on project progress
• Identify and address potential risks and challenges proactively
• Contribute to the organization's real estate development strategy
• Assist in preparing funding applications and reports
• Represent the organization at community meetings and public hearings
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Requirements
Ability to work in Oakland CA, in office.
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project tracking.
Understanding of Cloud Technologies.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Experience with ERP.
Knowledge of IBM software.
Proficiency in About Time software.
Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology.
Familiarity with budget processes.
Excellent communication skills.
Background in construction.
Knowledge of AI.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in Google Suite.
Experience in Commercial Real Estate.
Understanding of real estate investment.
In-depth knowledge of affordable housing regulations and certifications.
Understanding of Supportive Housing Recertification processes.
