Your role at Clorox:

As a Finance Manager at The Clorox Company you will be responsible for providing strong financial leadership and insights to functional and business unit leaders to facilitate decision making on innovation and other investment opportunities, and or lead and influence the financial forecast and close process.

In this role, you will:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead forecast and close process for areas of responsibility including identifying opportunities to close profit gaps as needed.

  • Facilitate clear decision making by supporting capital investment & cost savings analysis, business modeling analysis, and a-hoc analysis as required including pro-forma P&L projections and DCF valuations.

  • Own the evaluation and modeling of pricing changes, new product pricing and system set up of pricing within the workflow process and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

  • Play a key leadership role by providing influence to project teams, and leadership teams to help the Company meet it’s financial goals.

  • Continuous Improvement identification, recommendation, and implementation for areas of responsibilities. Support functional initiatives as needed

What we look for:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum six years of related finance and accounting experience

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to independently prioritize

  • Proven track record of working in a cross functional environment and forming solid relationships with other teams and work groups

  • Strong ability to influence others and drive change

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing industry experience

  • HFM, Essbase, SAP or other ERP systems experience
