Robert Half's client is seeking a qualified Electronic Health Records (EHR) Support Specialist to join their dynamic team in the healthcare department. The successful candidate will primarily focus on supporting and maintaining the EHR software system, while facilitating the information exchange between healthcare providers. This role will ensure a smooth operation of information systems and aid providers with technicalities impacting patient care.

Responsibilities:

· Administering day-to-day operations of the EHR software, including implementing, maintaining, and supporting all related software.

· Assisting with system configuration, process development, and system testing for the EHR application.

· Facilitating end-user training on EHR systems, ensuring high adoption rates and a seamless transition.

· Collaborating with vendors and other IT staff to resolve EHR related issues and enhance system functionality.

· Coordinating with various departments to assess needs and ensure smooth interoperability with other healthcare apps.

· Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements related to patient data and EHR systems ensuring updated compliance.

· Generating regular and customized reports from EHR system as per the organization needs.

· Continually improving EHR workflows to enhance system efficiency and ease of use.

· Assisting in data migration and ensuring the integrity and security of the patient data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Nursing, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in EHR support, preferably with a certification in a recognized EHR system.

• Demonstrated understanding of healthcare regulations and data standards.

• Strong technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system failures.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and guide end-users.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and adapt to change.
