Job Overview/Summary

The Associate Director, Treasury is a key member of the global treasury function with responsibility for recommending and managing capital structure, capital allocation and financial risk management activities which are vital for the company to achieve its strategic priorities and financial goals.

In this role, you will deliver operational and technical expertise to maximize value creation and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative, cross-functional and global environment. Our ideal candidate is technically savvy, highly-collaborative, with the ability to build trusted relationships with constituents both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recommendations and ongoing management of global debt and investment portfolio; execute short- and long-term debt issuances and share repurchase programs.

  • Lead development and presentation to senior leaders of financial forecast and long-range plan for total company cash flows and treasury accounts. This includes an analysis of key drivers of performance, identification of risks and opportunities, and gap closure recommendations as needed.

  • Leverage analytical skills and external focus to recommend and drive short-term and long-term opportunities to create value for the company.

  • Lead financial reporting and disclosure deliverables and compliance with internal controls associated with global debt, investment portfolios, and capital allocation activities.

  • Lead financial risk management / hedging programs; collaborate with business finance teams to identify and mitigate exposures to foreign exchange, interest rates and key commodities; manage relationships with counterparties and other external parties.

  • Evaluate strategic risk/reward trade-offs including hedging ratios, product structures and costs; identify KPI’s and build reporting infrastructure related to hedge programs.

  • Lead implementation of best practices and drive opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency of assigned treasury processes through automation and process simplification.

  • Manage regulatory compliance with ISDA protocols, Dodd-Frank or other regulatory changes

  • Advise fiduciary committee on investments held in company’s defined benefit and contribution plans, monitoring performance and working with investment advisors to ensure plan assets delivers goals and objectives.

Key Skills, Abilities, Experience and Education Required

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive responsibilities in corporate treasury and finance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

  • Experience managing and executing foreign exchange, interest rate and/or commodity hedging programs

  • Experience in Treasury Management Systems, financial modeling, Power Point and Excel

  • Demonstrated ability to drive value creation initiatives, implement best practices and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Highly effective verbal, written, and presentation skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly, accurately, and effectively with all levels of internal and external audiences

  • Collaborative and adept at facilitating an open exchange of ideas and building strong relationships

  • Intellectual curiosity and initiative to seek knowledge, and problem solve independently with minimal direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or FP&A Certification designation beneficial
