We are in the process of hiring a Collections Specialist to join our team in Oakbrook Illinois. This role is integral to our operations in the industry, where the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, resolving inquiries, and handling collections. This is a permanent position, great place to work with excellent quality of life/ ownership with hybrid 2 days work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Collect on commercial accounts reminding them about balances due

• Maintain detailed records of customer credit

• Proactively monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data

• Regularly interact with team leaders and other stakeholders to discuss business operations

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding collections

• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Requirements

• 5 plus years experience in a Collections Specialist role

• Proficiency in Commercial Collections is required

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel
