Job Title: Activities Assistant
Location: Ottawa County Riverview Healthcare Campus, Ohio
Shift Options:
- Part-Time: 12-hour shifts (8 AM - 8 PM) every other weekend + 1 day weekly
- Full-Time: 12-hour shifts (8 AM - 8 PM) every other weekend + 2 days weekly
Compensation:
- $2/hr Attendance Bonus
- $2/hr Weekend Differential

Job Summary:
Ottawa County Riverview Healthcare Campus is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. The Activities Assistant will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of recreational and social activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This role requires a compassionate individual who enjoys working with the elderly and can motivate and engage residents in meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and implement activities that cater to the interests and abilities of residents.
- Encourage resident participation in activities and provide support as needed.
- Create a monthly calendar of activities and distribute it to residents and staff.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of activity areas.
- Monitor and document resident participation and progress in activities.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure activities are integrated into the overall care plan.
- Develop relationships with residents to understand their needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
