Description

We are in search of a Finance Director for a client located in OAK GROVE, Oregon, United States, to fill an essential role in our team. The selected candidate will be tasked with managing financial processes, including auditing, budgeting, and accounting functions. The Finance Manager will be expected to work both on-site and remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the financial and budget processes in a timely and accurate manner

• Oversee the accounts payable (AP) system to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Handle auditing duties with a focus on government audits and ensuring compliance with relevant laws

• Utilize accounting functions to maintain accurate financial records and reports

• Implement ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial management

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status

• Maintain customer credit records accurately and ensure they are updated regularly

• Manage and coordinate with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field

• Experience in Government Accounting

• Must have a strong understanding of Budget Processes

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using financial software and databases

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
