Description

We are seeking a VP/Director of Finance in OAK BROOK, Illinois, United States. The role involves providing financial and management support for strategic initiatives, ensuring the achievement of business unit goals and objectives. The position encompasses responsibilities such as budget planning, financial analysis, and team leadership within the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Financial Analysts, providing them with guidance, training, and development opportunities

• Oversee the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic direction

• Provide accurate financial results, analyses, and forecasts

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls, including purchase order management and cost center budgeting

• Conduct financial assessment and analysis of strategic initiatives in partnership with business leaders

• Deliver financial decision support and assist product management with key metrics and trends

• Lead the development of business case models for new opportunities

• Manage initiatives related to financial systems and data sources for new business transactions and revenue recognition

• Develop and modify standardized periodic reporting for business performance management

• Maintain confidentiality of company information and contribute to team effort by participating in projects as needed

• Motivate, lead, and manage a high-performance team, ensuring transparent communication and facilitating employee development in line with company policies.

Skills required include proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Annual Budget, Auditing, and Budget Processes. Expertise in Business partnerships, All-Source Analysis, Detailed Analysis, Financial Analysis, Management processes, Major ERP System, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Microsoft Excel is also required.

Requirements

• The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems is required.

• Experience with Concur is a plus.

• Knowledge of CRM systems is necessary.

• Must have experience with Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Proficiency in accounting functions is required.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.

• Ability to handle an annual budget is crucial.

• Auditing experience is a must.

• Familiarity with budget processes is necessary.

• Ability to build and maintain business partnerships is essential.

• Experience in All-Source Analysis is a plus.

• Detailed Analysis skills are necessary.

• Must possess strong Financial Analysis skills.

• Experience with management processes is crucial.

• Familiarity with a major ERP system is a plus.

• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
