Our comprehensive line of products includes: pipe couplings, plain-end fittings, valves, cast and malleable iron fittings, forged steel fittings, steel pipe nipples and couplings, pipe hangers and hardware, channel and strut fittings, mining and oil field fittings, and much more.\ \ The Corporate Accounting Manager will plan and direct the accounting activities of the General Accounting department.\ \ How You Will Help:\

• Manages people, process and systems to ensures accurate and timely preparation of general ledger data, including account reconciliations
• Oversees systems, processes and controls for gathering data, analyzing information, confirming the accuracy of reports and provides recommendations for improving accounting methods.
• Establishes and improves internal controls, processes, and guidelines for accounting transactions.
• Understands financial and business operations at the company and supports cross functional teams in understanding the accounting impacts of business activities
• Responsible for core accounting programs, including the automated account reconciliation and lease accounting applications, and select functions of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
• Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
• Support and conduct technical accounting research and documentation for new accounting standards and significant company transactions.
• Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Supports projects within finance and the overall business, providing accounting support and expertise where applicable
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

\ What You Will Have:\

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting
• Five years or more of related experience required.
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
