News Corp Australia Partnerships Manager in NSW, Australia

What’s the role?

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end

management of digital partnerships, partnership communications and trade marketing events for the commercial team at Sky News.

You will have strong commercial acumen, spear-heading the digital strategy for Sky News clients, with stakeholders across Sky News and News Corp teams. You will have excellent stakeholder management, working across a range of teams including marketing, pricing, campaign operations and product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Commercial Director to secure digital partnerships through proposals and schedules.

  • Implement and track digital campaigns, ensuring regular monitoring and reporting.

  • Work with a range of direct and agency-led clients, emphasizing excellent customer service.

  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders to achieve efficient outcomes.

  • Utilize strong research and writing skills to create compelling narratives that align business objectives with programming.

  • Deliver relevant content to the Sky News commercial database via newsletters and sales proposals.

  • Deliver and manage trade marketing events for 20 to 300 attendees. This will involve being responsible for assisting with event production, operations, budgets, partnership management, and timelines, ensuring a smooth event experiences with tangible outcomes.

Who are you?

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role

  • Actively interested in news, media, and politics with a working knowledge of current events.

  • Knowledge of media and production landscape across TV and digital platforms (and other platforms such as audio/podcasting, social)

  • Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and strong organizational abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Skilled in structuring and writing proposals and communicating creative ideas for market pitches.

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and can expertly problem solve effectively and communicate changes in scope clearly.

  • Event management experience or a willingness to learn.

  • Experience in video-led content production from advertising, television, or short-form content.

  • Competent storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
