About the Role The Sr. Director, Controlling - Car Audio (CA) SBU position is globally responsible for leading all finance and controlling activities for the CA SBU within the Automotive Division. This leader will work collaboratively in the Automotive/Controlling Matrix organization, and have global financial oversight of Automotive Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, and Marketing pertaining to the SBU. The role will have close interaction and alignment with Division, SBUs and Region management serving on the core leadership team of both the SBU and Controlling organizations.

Your Team The Sr. Dir, Controlling - CA SBU reports to the Senior Vice President, controlling - Automotive Division, and dotted to the Senior Vice President, CA SBU. The role will fully utilize the global breadth of the Automotive Controlling Organization which includes 3 Regional Controllers, central Controlling functions (e.g., FP&A, Best Practice Analytics, Shared Services, etc.) as well as possible future direct reports as the business scales in revenue.

What You Will Do Partner with the SVP, CA SBU leader, Automotive and Corporate leadership as well as Global Automotive Sales leaders in all areas affecting the SBU's financial performance (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) including commercial offers, pricing, strategies, investment decisions, engineering platform creation/cancellation, business cases, growth initiatives and cost reduction programs. Lead in-depth business Operational / Financial / Strategic reviews with analysis to create optionality to drive and support key decisions across functions such as sales, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, operations and G&A across regions as well as global platforms, programs and products. Drive, facilitate and recommend strategies and actions to achieve short and long-term objectives. Lead finance and controlling activities for all Automotive customers, platforms and programs in the SBU including the review and approval on business cases, minor/major approvals and customer change requests including but not limited to: Toyota, Subaru, Daimler, BMW, Audi/VW, General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, Tata, MSIL, Honda, Harley-Davidson, GWM, local China OEM's and Tesla. Lead collaborative activities between SBU Controllers to ensure common voice within the Automotive Division regarding governance, global standards, approvals and deliverables. Develop and ensure governance, benchmarks and global standard processes are followed for the SBU. Lead teams through financial exercises to address cost structures on platform and product costs including design, optimization, and enforcement of standards among Global Automotive Sales leaders. Perform and lead key finance processes for the SBU including monthly financial and operational reporting and analysis, monthly risks & opportunities, quarterly forecasts, annual P&L / Balance Sheet / Free Cash Flow budgets, long-term planning, and compliance. Ensure financial commitments including capital budgets, expense budgets and new business proposals, platform programs and working capital are achieved. Ensure financial commitments for individual programs are met over the program lifetime to include Pre-SOP cost target achievement and manage roadmap actions to improve profitability. Perform as the global financial lead for SBU based restructuring projects, and as financial lead on ad-hoc basis for strategic business planning, including M&A activity to enhance platform strategy and success.
