Job Description :
Summary
The Senior Transportation Analyst is responsible for overseeing the settlement and reconciliation of carrier freight bills on behalf of Ryder customers. This role manages freight billing disputes, carrier payment process and cost optimization initiatives while working closely with operations, finance and external partners. Senior Analyst will manage and develop client facing Analysts. Position will require a high degree of customer interface and the ability to represent Ryder in customer meetings.
Essential Functions
Oversee end to end freight billing process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to carriers.
Identify errors, overcharges and discrepancies and resolve billing disputes with carriers.
Provide monthly and quarterly reports on freight spend for the customer.
Partner with operations, finance and customer to ensure alignment.
Coordinate the activities of TM procurement to achieve best cost/service solution network
Take ownership of customer initiated special projects and assignments as required
Responsible for the preparation in support of client quarterly and monthly account reviews
Hire, train and oversees analysts supporting customer accounts.
Evaluate, quantify and present opportunities for continuous improvement at assigned accounts
Manage performance through root cause analysis and implementation of improvementsutilizing automation strategies and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Logistics or related field of study or a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience
Five (5) years or more industry related experience required

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
