Motor City Floors and Coatings Level 2 Installer in Novi, Michigan
A Level Two Installer is responsible for:
Level Two Installer
- Familiar with operational check sheets and inspection methods.
- Able to maintain, set up and safely operate diamond grind machine
- Capable of cutting base coat and cut clear with little to no assistance
- Experience with using Mix and MR-50.
- Capable of training entry level (Level 3) Installers.
Proficiency is needed with duties below to qualify for Level 2:
- Self-Sufficient in running diamond grind machine (Big Boy)
- Familiar with utilizing painting tools (for cutting paint and topcoat)
- Must be able to operate Heppa Vacuum
- Experienced in use of basic hand tools.
- Capable of moderate troubleshooting
- Demonstrate the ability to organize the company trailer.
- Ability to utilize proper PPE such as face mask, gloves etc.
- Mechanically inclined and detail-orientated.
- Can follow verbal and written instructions.
- Possesses basic math skills as needed onsite.
- Able to complete a visual inspection. Can identify visual defects after install.
Able to wash/pack installation equipment.
