Learning Care Group’s order to cash process includes over one thousand schools involved in enrolling students, setting them up within our “point of sale” (“POS”) system, and connecting with Third Party Agencies (where applicable) such that over $1B of revenue is recorded accurately and collected timely. The person in this role will work closely with Operations, IT and Internal Audit to make changes to our Order to Cash systems and process which improve our customer interface, enhance our control environment, improve the accuracy of customer and financial records and lay the groundwork for loyalty programs. This role will also partner with our B2B organization to establish a cadence of planning for B2B initiatives and will evaluate current B2B financial processes. This role will also own the relationship with the vendor of our POS system and will help lead Order to Cash initiatives to improve efficiency and control over our processes, including managing any third-party partners who are engaged to help the Company implement system or process changes.
Essential Functions:
Manage day-to-day order to cash responsibilities with a heavy focus on strategic initiatives.
Drive process/system changes to enable payment flexibility, to facilitate recording/billing Third Party Agencies, to improve accuracy of customer and financial records and to minimize potential for lost revenue.
Develop strategy for enhancement of the POS system based on organization needs – across Finance, Operations and IT – and including adjacent technologies where appropriate.
Work to configure systems to enable the implementation of opportunities to reduce costs associated with credit card payments (e.g., interchange fees).
Focus on driving efficiency of back-end systems and processes for recording billings and cash receipts.
Ensure process/system changes improve controls and reduce manual accounting requirements.
Evaluate team functions/responsibilities and consider structural changes with a focus on emphasizing team strengths and potential development opportunities.
Manage month-end/year-end close activities related to Receivables and accounting for B2B on sites and other B2B arrangements.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will have 2 Sr. Managers and a Sr. Accountant reporting to it, with 13 Indirect reports.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
10 years of experience, minimum of 5 years in a leadership/management position with demonstrated ability and experience driving change and improving processes.
Strong understanding of accounting and internal controls; big-4 accounting experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional business partners to align on and achieve mutual goals.
Effective communication skills and ability to influence.
Confidence to lead change.
Understanding of early childhood education/childcare industry or retail industry experience (transactional environment which prioritizes the consumer experience), preferred
Strong project management skills and organizational awareness
Ability to evaluate existing processes, analyze options to arrive at recommended course of action.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid.
$150-165k base salary
This position is also eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.
