The B2B Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting the planning, managing, and sale of B2B’s Onsite and Funded Care business. This will include but is not limited to facilitating project meetings, maintaining project schedules, gathering issues, coordinating with real estate/ construction, negotiating contract terms with legal, and communicating overall project status to all stakeholders involved. The successful Sales Engineer will be highly curious, creative, and excellent at problem-solving, using logical reasoning.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and coordinate the onsite RFP process, working cross-functionally with impacted departmental leaders and team members to ensure the overall objectives are met.

  • Drive all deals in the onsite funnel with cross-functional teams, including Education, Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Licensing, Real Estate, Risk and Training to ensure the right information is gathered.

  • Assist in space and capacity planning as it relates to retrofits and new builds of an onsite.

  • Work alongside the Business Development Manager to gather and assess client needs, then guide cross functional teams to customize the plan for each prospect.

  • Develop and maintain processes to effectively manage multiple deals and establish repeatable processes to ensure projects meet deadlines while maintaining the support from internal stakeholders and resources.

  • Organize, initiate, and maintain support calls/follow-up between Support Central departments, as well as field operations and clients; hold effective communication across all parties.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers within our external, referral sourcing partners.

  • Develop metrics to examine and track success as it relates to deal closure and create best practices for future opportunities.

  • Conduct company research and create demand analysis for prospects looking to implement Funded Childcare into their benefit packages.

  • Attend and participate in client presentations, both in person and virtually when needed.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience.

  • Must have operations experience in Early Childhood Education.

  • Sales and/or marketing experience a plus.

  • BS/ BA degree.

Travel

Ability to travel up to 50%.

Other Skills and Abilities Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Capable of working with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

  • Effective communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.

  • Proficient time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet established deadlines.

  • Ability to persuasively drive results.

  • Experience with contract/ legal redlining a major plus.
