AMBULATORY CAPACITY ANALYST: An Analyst in Ambulatory Capacity Management (ACM) supports the manager of ACM by effectively evaluating and communicating requested changes from specialties regarding scheduling optimization to the IS department. The Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the access impacts of each template or scheduling change request, proactively identifying access barriers, and working with the manager to ensure changes fit within the organization's access guidelines. The Analyst will be responsible for escalating any permanent changes or changes affecting patient access to the manager of ACM. He/She will attend bi-weekly Access Change Committee meetings to review outstanding template and scheduling change requests for the specialties the analyst is assigned to. The Analyst will be responsible for responding to change requests from the specialty timely, communicating any changes that are denied, and working through potential alternatives. Strong customer service and meeting facilitation skills are essential to the role as the Analyst will work with a broad array of practice stakeholders (practice administrators, practice managers, clinicians, and any other TriHealth staff members requesting a template or scheduling change), as well as coordinate with peers in IS. The Analyst will support the manager of ACM with the implementation and maintenance of any online scheduling initiatives. He/She will be expected to support managers, schedulers, clinic-based template builders, and supervisors in their learning and understanding of Epic functionality/limitations and associated organizationally approved workflows. The position requires strong communication skills enabling the analyst to translate a request from a specialty to the IS team, project management skills, attention to detail, data analysis and a strong technical understanding of Epic scheduling, templates, decision trees. The Analyst will work closely with CCC leadership and trainers to conduct any necessary retraining for decision tree/template change requests and will support ongoing projects in the Ambulatory Capacity Management department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience Epic

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years Epic

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Epic Cadence.
